Abstract: In recent years, with the increasing demands of consumers for the performance of textiles, yarn, as the basic material of textiles, has developed rapidly in the technological innovation of ring spinning production and has superior performance in raw material adaptability, production efficiency, and yarn quality compared with other spinning technologies. Against this background, this paper mainly introduces and analyzes the principles and yarn structures of traditional ring spinning and new ring spinning technologies and points out that strengthening the control of the twisting triangle area is the development direction of mainstream ring spinning technologies. The quality of spun yarn can be improved by installing new ring spinning devices, optimizing the yarn structure and enhancing the multi-physical field. Finally, the trend of ring-spun yarn in the future is prospected to provide new ideas for process research and development and improvement.
