Abstract: In 2022, the global economic recovery slowed, and the international demand for textiles and clothing was weak. As a new form of foreign trade, cross-border e-commerce achieved stable growth, but the growth rate and enthusiasm for investment gradually returned to rational. And the industry development entered a mature period. The year 2023 is the starting year to fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC). By analyzing the development of cross-border e-commerce in China, the current status of textile industry exports, and the current situation of cross-border e-commerce in textiles and clothing, the article analyzes the opportunities and challenges faced by the development of cross-border e-commerce in the textile industry as well as development trends. In doing so, it proposes key measures to promote the high-quality development of cross-border e-commerce in China’s textile industry.
