Abstract: The article examines and compares the performance variations among three different types of fabrics: Gracell® fiber, modal, and viscose knitted fabrics. This is done through the testing of their bursting strength, anti-pilling performance, and dye-uptake performance. The results indicate that Gracell® fiber knitted fabrics demonstrate outstanding performance. They exhibit anti-pilling performance and bursting strength that are comparable to modal knitted fabrics, and superior to viscose fabrics. Additionally, the dye uptake of Gracell® fiber fabrics is slightly higher than that of modal fabrics. In addition, Gracell® fiber has a lower production cost compared to modal. It also has a wider material source and is environmentally friendly, making it highly promising for comfortable wear applications.
