Abstract: This paper introduces the development and demand for firefighter uniforms, as well as the application of knitted fabrics in the 19-type firefighter uniforms. And then, the paper concludes the fibers and relevant characteristics, performance requirements and garment structure of 19-type knitted firefighter uniforms, including long-sleeved physical ability training uniforms, velvet vests, thermal underwear, sleeveless pullover and underpants. In the end, the paper looks forward to the development prospect of knitted fabrics in industry uniforms and provides the necessary basis for the research and development of enterprises.
