Online 3D Display of Intangible Cultural Heritage Dance Costumes

Abstract: 3D virtual technology can simulate the process that transforms clothing from a 2D static template to a 3D form. With the help of technologies such as computers and Internet interaction, the real clothing design and production process can be virtualized into digital models, so as to display clothing in a virtual manner. Based on the related research results of the Dance Costumes Research Center of Nantong University, the paper combines three-dimensional virtual technology and intangible cultural heritage dance costumes via the Korean CLO3D software. In doing so, the dynamic and static 3D online display of intangible cultural heritage dance costumes can be realized and create a miniature costume museum on the Internet. To a certain extent, it has improved the painful problems such as the difficulty of preserving intangible cultural heritage dance costumes and mixing, and achieved the purpose of digitally protecting intangible cultural heritage dance costumes.
