Abstract: This paper research the influence of different washing factors, i.e., water temperature, surfactant, and mechanical agitation, as well as different drying conditions after washing, i.e., drying in the shade, and oven drying on the waterproof effect of polyester fabrics. In addition, a model of the drying mechanism of waterproof polyester fabrics was established in order to provide theoretical and application references for the drying in the shade of waterproof polyester fabrics.
