Abstract: In order to explore the influence of process parameters in the spunbonding process on the final fiber diameter, the paper established a theoretical polymer drawing model of the spunbonding process based on existed drawing process, and numerically solved the model by MATLAB. At the same time, the initial velocity of air flow, the initial temperature of the polymer and the mass flow rate of polymer were selected to compare the final fiber diameter obtained by numerical solution under different schemes through the control variable method, and the influence of these three factors on the final fiber diameter was obtained. Results show that the larger the initial gas velocity is, the higher the initial temperature of the polymer, or the smaller the mass flow rate of polymer, the finer the diameter of the final fiber.
