Abstract: In order to let underwear and yoga wear meet the consumers’ pursuit of comfort and personalization and have functional, skin-friendly and skin-beautifying properties, the paper takes functional masterbatch and nylon semi-gloss chips as raw materials to carry out research on the effect of functional masterbatch addition on the molecular weight, mechanical properties and spinnability of the antibacterial skin-friendly collagen modified nylon 6 elastic filament. Results indicated that with the help of antibacterial skin-friendly collagen masterbatch, nylon 6 can own antibacterial, cooling, moisturizing and skin-friendly properties. Although the amount increase of functional masterbatch will slightly reduce the molecular weight of the fiber, it has no significant effect on the evenness, crimping performance and dyeing uniformity of the fiber.
