Abstract: In order to promote the competitiveness of the air-jet loom industry, China has canceled the lower provisional import tax rates of air-jet looms from the beginning of 2021, which will affect China’s air-jet looms and related industrial chain. The external environment has been complex and changeable due to repeated pandemics, trade friction, foreign exchange rate fluctuations and the coming RCEP. Therefore, China’s airjet loom industry should focus on high-quality development and take comprehensive strategies to improve resilience by strengthening the R&D innovation, preventing the foreign exchange risks, and promoting diversified exports.
