Research Progress in Preparation of Carbon Nanotube Fiber and Its Composites with High Conductivity

2021年8月26日

Abstract: As one-dimensional macro-assembled material of carbon nanotubes, carbon nanotubes fiber is considered as one of the most promising candidate materials for in the fields of aerospace, high-speed railway, automobiles and wearable electronic products due to its low density, excellent mechanical properties, high conductivity and corrosion resistance. However, due to the weak van der Waals force interaction between carbon nanotubes and the significant scattering of electrons and phonons, the conductivity of carbon nanotube fiber is significantly weaker than that of metal materials, which affect the application of carbon nanotube fiber. Therefore, the paper introduces the preparation methods of carbon nanotube fiber and its composites with high conductivity in recent years, so as to provide a reference for the continuous production of high-conductivity and high-strength carbon nanotube fiber.
