Abstract: This paper introduces the main characteristics of China’s apparel import via the analysis of China’s apparel import data in recent years. Since its accession to the WTO in 2001, China’s market is in allround opening up. The rapid growth of China’s apparel imports is driven by the international transfer of the textile and apparel industry, and the global procurement of internationally famous fashion brands. Whether it is luxury brands or fast fashion brands, the clothing sold in Chinese stores keeps pace with the global market.China’s apparel market has become an integral part of the global market.
