– A Case of Zhongshan’s Textile and Garment Industry

Abstract: Based on the demand analysis of the regional textile and garment industry, this paper puts forward the principles and ideas of building a regional standard system. Taking the establishment of standard system of textile and garment industry in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province as practice, in view of the structural problems in its development such as “low level, small scale, and scattered layout”, guided by the products of professional towns and the whole industrial chain, the paper builds a new user-oriented standard system for producers and traders, analyzes the system frame and encoding rules, and puts forward suggestions on building and revision of industry standard system, so as to provide a reference for building the industry standard system for textile and garment clusters.
