Abstract: This paper introduces key processing and technology measures of producing linen fabric on OptiMax rapier loom. Aiming to solve the existed problems such as broken warps, low operating speed, and low weaving efficiency, the sizing process was optimized by adjusting process parameters of back beam height, shed timing, and loom tension. In doing so, the loom efficiency could reach above 80%, and the first-class product rate could be increased from less than 70% to above 80%.
