-A Case of the Integration of Textile Industry and Information Service Industry

Abstract: Based on the theory of industrial integration, this paper studies the trend of industrial integration of the textile industry and information service industry in China from 2007-2019 by using a coupling coordination evaluation model. Then this paper constructs a model based on the SCP analysis framework to estimate the impact of the integration of the textile industry and information service industry on industrial performance. The results show that the integration is ever closer; the industrial convergence shows a positive correlation with the performance of the textile industry and becomes new growth power to the performance of the textile industry. The market structure level and the open degree of market matter to the performance of the textile industry, while the correlation between the open degree of the market and the performance of the textile industry is not significant. Industry ownership structure shows a negative correlation with the performance of the textile industry. At this point, this paper puts forward suggestions to promote the integration of China’s textile industry and the information service industry and improve the performance of the textile industry.
