Abstract: Using casting film technology, PE is coated on the surface of PET fiber to modify it, and form a special fiber surface structure, so as to obtain long-lasting moisture absorption, perspiration conduction,and quick-drying functions. Experiment results indicated that when the crystallinity of PE decreased by more than 20%, the permeability of new modified fiber will 3-5 times stronger than the original one. Compared with imported moisture absorption and quick-drying fibers in the market, the modified spun yarn has obvious advantages in price and has certain market com petitiveness.
