Abstract: In 2020, the outbreak of the new coronavirus has caused China’s textile industry to face difficulties in the industrial chain, and supply chain circulation, as well as rapid decline in domestic and foreign market demand. Affected by the pandemic, China’s demand for textile and apparel at this stage has recovered less than expected, while the international market demand shrinks continually. There are still many uncertainties in the future development and impact of the pandemic, which will hit the consumer demand pattern and international trade layout of textile and apparel. The paper concludes the characteristics of changes in the global textile and apparel markets amid pandemic, and looks forward to the changing trends of the global textile and apparel markets b ased on relevant influencing factors.
