Abstract: With the in-depth study of functional fiber materials, especially for graphene, carbon nanotubes and other conductive and heat-conducting fibers, as well as the rise of micro-electronic devices and 5G communication technology, smart textiles have developed rapidly and have been applied in the fields of communication, medical treatment, national defense and military industry, individual soldier equipment, sports and leisure products, etc. The research on intelligent textiles is a new intersection of modern textiles and electronics, chemistry, biology and medicine. This paper summarizes the current research status of energy conversion and storage smart textiles and sensor smart textiles, and looks forward to the main development trends and technical challenges of smart textiles.
