Abstract: The paper demonstrates the important role of fibers in the textile industry, which are not only the main support for new textiles development, but also the cutting-edge technology for the development of intelligent textiles. Material science is expected to become the most important technology in the textile industry in the future. The paper lists the development and application of new fibers such as nanofibers,graphene fibers, super imitation cotton fibers, and intelligent textiles, with a view to enabling knitting insiders to strengthen the forward-looking awareness of new materials, actively paying attention to and applying various novel fibers, and developing new knitting process, new technology and new products.
