Abstract: The carding principle of taker-in card clothing is introduced. And the technological innovation advantages of several new types of taker-in card clothing are analyzed, including tooth density, tooth tip thickness, section shape, tooth angle and surface finish effect. The paper discusses their pros and cons as well as development directions, and points out that the development trend of taker-in card clothing is high speed,high yield, high efficiency, improved opening effect, reduced fiber damage and long service life.
