Study on Size Changes of Women’s Shoulder and Arm in Outdoor Mountaineering

2020年5月26日

Abstract: In order to design the sleeve structure of women’s outdoor mountaineering suits more scientifically and reasonably, the paper analyzed the size changes of the upper body and arms of women during mountaineering. Six representative action postures were selected, and the size changes of the tester’s upper body and arms were measured by lineation-on-body experiment, so as to analyze the laws of data change. Results indicated that the skin of the shoulder and arm near the armpit had a large tensile deformation. The maximum elongation of the whole line was analyzed. Thereinto, the back-width line near the back armpit was 42%, and the longitudinal line near the armpit bottom was more than 25%. The transverse line of the arm was more than 30% near the arm root, and the transverse line and longitudinal line through the elbow were more than 20%. The paper analyzed the change rate of each segment. The closer the position is to the armpit, the greater the change rate is. In the structural design, it is necessary to comprehensively consider the lateral and longitudinal stretch around the front and rear armpit points and the longitudinal stretching around the armpit bottom points.
