Abstract: This paper selected the textile and garment industry cluster in the Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou region as the representative cluster of that in Jiangsu Province. Based on the analysis of the current construction status of each cluster in Jiangsu Province, the paper conduct a vertical comparison and comprehensive analysis of the textile and apparel industry clusters in these regions from 2016 to 2018 via location quotient. Research results show that the textile and garment industry clusters in Jiangsu Province need to be optimized from the space and internal structure of the industry. Based on this, the paper proposes related optimization countermeasures.
