Abstract: The paper takes obstetric hospitalization clothing as the research object. By analyzing the characteristics of the obstetric hospitalization group and the development status of obstetric hospitalization clothing, the paper points out that its current deficiencies, that is, inconvenient inspection and nursing.According to the functional requirements of obstetric hospitalization clothing, the paper conducts comparative experiments and research on pattern design, fabric selection, style modeling, functional structure, etc., and improves the obstetric hospitalization clothing based on the “people-oriented” design concept, so as to meet the specific requirements of maternal body shape, and meets the requirements of nursing, inspection and comfortable function. The paper puts forward the design concept of “practical functionality, aesthetic functionality, and identification functionality” for obstetric hospitalization clothing, and conducts practical tests on the design scheme, which provides a reference for the design and application of obstetric hospitalization clothing in the future.
