Abstract: Starting with the research status of virtual try-on technology, this paper firstly summarized its workflow and application fields, and explored its application in apparel design with specific design practices.The whole process of garment design could be digitized through human body modeling, fabric simulation, style and structure design, virtual sewing, pattern correction and dynamic display, which provides a feasible technical direction for applications of digital technologies especially virtual try-on technology in garment design.
