Abstract: Nanofibers have specific features and are widely used in several applications including environmental remediation, filtration, energy production and storage, electronic and optical sensor, tissue engineering as well as drug delivery. Since electrospinning is limited by its low productivity and unable for mass production due to restriction factors, this paper introduces the new production technology of submicronanofibers technology, such as centrofugal spinning, melt-spun nanoweb and hybrid nanofibers.
