Abstract: The development of China’s printing and dyeing industry is in the reshaping period, and the industrial competition mode and layout are constantly changing. The printing and dyeing industry in Shandong Province has a high-level intelligence, various leading enterprises, and complete products.However, in recent years, the industry has experienced negative growth and the profit rate has declined,which has become a bottleneck restricting the scale and efficiency of textile and garment in Shandong Province. Based on the status quo in Shandong Province, the paper concluded its development characteristics as well as its advantages and disadvantages, and then proposes countermeasures for future development.

According to the established countermeasures, the printing and dyeing industry of Shandong Province is expected to become an application demonstration of advanced technology and an important driver for the improvement of the textile and garment industry in Shandong Province.
