Abstract: The United States is the world’s largest importer and consumer for textiles and apparel, and also the largest export destination for Chinese textiles and apparel, Sino-US trade frictions are bound to have a huge impact on bilateral textile and apparel trade. The paper analyzes the Sino-US trade friction process and the status quo of bilateral trade, and analyzes the potential impact of Sino-US trade friction on trade exports between the two sides. Under this context, countermeasures were put forward, such as promoting the structural reform of the supply side of the textile industry, expanding the pattern of opening up to the world,and stimulating the domestic demand market.
