Analysis of Ventilation Design of Cold Protective Clothing Based on Heat and Moisture Balance

Abstract: The ventilation performance of the cold protective clothing is an important parameter in its function evaluation. By analyzing the mechanism of heat and moisture transfer and the influencing factors of the cold protective clothing, the paper discussed the applicability of the common ventilation design methods in the ventilation design of the cold protective clothing, so as to put forward the refinement principle of the ventilation design of the cold protective clothing based on the rational arrangement of the breathable fabric and the design of the garment opening. Results indicated that based on the refinement of the multilayer fabric, the ventilation design of the cold protective clothing should optimize the matching of the ventilation design and the physiological characteristics of the human body, and clarify the configuration method and the opening position of the breathable fabric. In the future, using fluid dynamics technology to study the air flow law of the multilayer fabric of the cold protective clothing, so as to quantify the ventilation opening to meet the different heat dissipation requirements of the human body.
