Abstract: With the in-depth application research on advanced nano-powders and functional fibers, e-textiles have a rapid development based on the development of nanofibers, graphene, carbon nanotubes, optical fibers, grating fibers, light scattering fibers, conductive fibers, piezoelectric fibers, thermosensitive fibers, photochromic fibers, etc., as well as the popularization of advanced technologies such as microelectronic components, chips, metering devices, thin and flexible new power supplies, microsensor,mobile phones and mobile networks, and the emergence of sound and image recognition. The e-textiles has been applied to the field of communications, electronic power, medical treatment, health care, national defense, individual equipment, protective garment, sports and leisure products, etc. The paper introduces the status of the global smart textiles market, and concludes the development and application of smart fibers and related products.
