Abstract: In recent years, the development direction of fancy yarns has mainly focused on the following three aspects. The first is the application of new materials, blending the fibers of different lengths, materials and functions; the second is the innovation of yarn structure; the third is the coordinated match of yarn texture and color. Development of innovative fancy yarn must rely on the corresponding technical equipment. The paper focuses on two fancy yarns, that is popular in the market in recent years, and the technical points of their equipment, and looks forward the future development trend of fancy yarns and their equipment.
