Abstract: Bulked continuous filament (BCF) is an important fiber type for home decoration. In recent years, BCF manufacturers have tended to reduce raw material consumption in the selection of raw materials, so that they increased investment in the recycling of waste materials and the development of renewable resources. The paper briefly introduces the technological progress of bio-based carpet yarn and eco-friendly products such as the direct production of BCF from recycled polyester bottle flakes, and compares the development of BCF in the field of eco-friendly home decoration at home and abroad.
