2019年4月15日

Abstract: With the development of archeological excavation, a large number of mural paintings during the Wei, Jin, Northern and Southern Dynasties were unearthed, which made up for the insufficient historical information about the costume in this period. Quite a few scholars have conducted researches from various perspectives, but there is a lack of systematic research on female costumes in murals. The paper classifies female costume of mural paintings during the Wei, Jin, Northern and Southern Dynasties, summarizes seven types of female costume in murals, and draw clothing flat structural drawings, so as to display the structure of the clothing more vividly. Tombs and clothes styles involved are sorted in chronological order to show the development of the clothing more directly. And then, this paper draws a conclusion that Served Ru together with secondary-colored dress (secondary color includes red, yellow and cyan) is the most popular style during this period.
