Abstract: The paper introduces the characteristic of the tussah silk, develops knitted underwear fabric by blending with acrylic fiber and modal fiber in an appropriate proportion, and carries out a research on its production process and technical points, including specifications design, yarn design, weave design, dyeing and finishing process. Meanwhile, it also expounds the difficulties and solutions in the actual dyeing process of tussah silk. And the testing results showed that the antibacterial and anti-static properties of tussah silk have reached the national standard and industrial standard, providing ideas for the application of tussah silk on knitted underwear fabric and the expansion of market space.
