Abstract: Jacquard technology is one of the latest high-end technologies in the warp-knitting field, which has great potential and prospects. This paper first introduces the development history of jacquard systems over the years; and then elaborates three advanced technologies in the field of terry jacquard: single reverseplated jacquard technology, overlap/underlap shogging technology and double-jacquard technology, and introduces their characteristics and respective product characteristics. Among them, single reverse-plated jacquard technology can produce light-weighted and elegant fabric; overlap/underlap shogging technology can produce seamless and fully-fashioned products; and double-jacquard technology can be used for producing colorful products. Finally, the paper points out that the terry jacquard technology is a significant innovation and can provide future-oriented products when combining with other modern technologies.
