Abstract: Compared with traditional dressings, hydrogel dressings can keep the wounds in a moist environment and have obvious advantages in water vapor permeability, anti-infection property, biocompatibility property, and self-debridement property, etc. This paper mainly introduces the research status and application prospects of four new-type biomedical hydrogel dressings, including anti-infection hydrogel dressings, intelligent hydrogel dressings, composite hydrogel dressings and adsorptive hydrogel dressings. And then, this paper looks forward to the development direction of new-type biomedical hydrogel dressings.
