Abstract: To carry out a research on polyester/cotton and polyamide/cotton blended summer combat camouflage fabrics, the paper chooses three factors, i.e., fabric weave, blending ratio, density of warp and weft, to conduct an orthogonal experiment with three factors and five levels. The maximum transient thermal flow qmax of polyester/cotton and polyamide/cotton blended fabrics was tested by using KES-F7 THERMO LABO Ⅱ warm-cool feeling measuring instrument to represent their cool touch feeling. Based on analyzing the three factors’ influence on the permeating degree and moisture permeability of these two fabrics, the paper elaborates on their influence on the cool touch feeling by using subjective and objective evaluation methods.
