Abstract: In recent years, it is found that the polypyrrole(PPy) combined with the fabric can be used as flexible basic materials because of its excellent electrical property, and it has a wide range of applications in the intelligent wearable direction. The paper mainly introduced three methods to prepare the conductive fabric with PPy-coating, including the vapor deposition, the electrochemical and in-situ polymerization which is used widely due to its simple operation process. In addition, the applications of the fabric with PPycoating was summaried, such as the strained fabric sensor, super capacitor, electromagnetic shielding and biological antibacterial.
