Abstract: Color and weave effects of fabric come from the change of basic weaves and arrangement of colored yarn. It is originated from tradition, but more fashionable; it is originated from nature, but full of hitech feeling. Traditional fabric can be recreated into new classics with this technique. Based on examples of color and weave effects and trial weaving practice, the paper elaborates on the design methods and procedures of color and weave effects.
