Abstract: The paper gives a general description of key technologies for manufacturing fully-fashioned knitted vamp by discussing the production equipment, raw material selection, process design, finishing, etc. The configuration of three types of warp knitting machines used for knitting the vamp as well as the structural design of single-layer, double-layer, three-dimensional warp-knitted vamps are discussed in details.
