Abstract: By adjusting the dimensions of stator slot and rotor slot of a motor, various losses of the motor can be controlled and the total loss can be reduced, thus cutting down the manufacturing cost and improving the efficiency of the motor. The paper introduces related designing case and evaluates the results of the case.
