Abstract: In recent years, the traditional costumes of the Han nationality have been explored from the perspective of folk custom. Costume custom, as an important part of folk culture, embody strong national sentiment and reflect the Chinese national culture with local characteristics. This paper, based on the theory of folklore, the study on the collections of the Han Folk Costumes Museum of Jiangnan University, an extensive collection of literature as well as the observation and comparison of physical products, summed up the main customs of Chinese traditional folk costumes, analyzed the commonality and disparity of Han costume custom in different regions in China, and dig deeply into the folk cultural connotation it attaches,aimed at helping people better understand the folk costume culture of the Chinese Han nationality.
