Abstract: As China’s economy transitions to the “new normal”, China's textile and garment exports suffered the blow of world economic downturn and weak demand. In recent years, there are obvious signs of shrinking on traditional export markets. However, China-led RCEP (Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership) negotiations recently have accelerated, which bring new variables to the diffultyridden export-oriented textile and garment industry. By comparing textile and garment export data in recent years in different markets and regions, and based on the interpretation of related policies, the article analyzes and discusses once the RCEP is reached, the influence it will bring to China’s textile and garment exports, and some suggestions are given.
