Abstract: The non-isothermal crystallization process and kinetics of bio-based PA56 were investigated by differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) under different cooling rates. It is found that as the cooling rate accelerates, the crystallization peak will shift from single peak into double peaks.Jeriorny and Mo methods were used to further analyze the crystallization kinetics of bio-based PA56. The results show that the nonisothermal crystallization behavior of PA56 can be well described by Mo method and the crystallization of bio-based PA56 was greatly affected by the cooling rate.
