Abstract: This article analyzes the influence of fabric warp density and texture on the air permeability of the fabric. By designing experiment, comparing main control variables with experimental data and analyzing the relationship between different indicators, it draws the conclusion that for fabrics with same raw materials and texture, the higher warp density, the lower the air permeability; and for fabrics with same raw materials and warp density, the less the number of warp-weft crossing, the looser the texture, hence the higher the air permeability of the fabric. Texture has the most influence on air permeability.
