Abstract: In medieval times, lace and church are inextricably linked. When looking carefully at lacepatterns, you will find that they are similar to the pattern designs inside the church. Today there are manyarticles describing inside-church pattern designs, and articles introducing warp-knitted strip lace are toonumerous to mention, but studies that combine the two have never been tried. Based on visits to well-knownchurches, investigating the characteristics of the church stained glass patterns, and referring to pictures inhistorical documents, the paper systematically summed up the cultural connotation and the structure of thepatterns painted on the glass, and it even redesigned the patterns by using the techniques of chopping andscattering reconstruction and applied them in the pattern design of warp-knitted strip lace.
