Abstract: It is easier for jacquard fabric to form different looks of the products and satisfy the market needs for novelty and innovative design and high added value-add. The design ideas and designing procedures by using CAD software were discussed in this article based on analyzing several samples of dobby weave patterns inspired by daily things and hot spots. During the process of pattern design, the graphics transformation and recombination design methods were adopted with the support of CAD software, which offer a faster way to realize diversified and novel dobby weave patterns.
