Abstract: Under the background of supply-side structural reform, the degree of relevance and intensity between different sectors of the textile and garment industry chain is increasing steadily. As a result, the industry has increasing demand for inter-disciplinary skilled talents with both industry and commerce education background. Textile and garment vocational colleges should, based on investigating the industry’s demand for talents, integrate textile and garment schools with business school, set target for cultivating interdisciplinary skilled talents with both industry and commerce education background, set up relevant curricula system, carry out teaching reform based on practical training bases both inside and outside the college and ultimately construct an inter-disciplinary skilled talents cultivation system by building up strong faculty,setting up practical training base, sharing teaching resources, establishing quality evaluation system, etc.
