Abstract: Hybrid fiber reinforced structural absorbing composites have been used in many stealth applications thanks to their excellent electromagnetic wave absorption and mechanical properties. The article analyzed the mechanism of interaction between electromagnetic wave and stealthy material, made clear the principle for designing such materials and investigated the influence of carbon fiber orientation, hybrid ratio and hybrid structure on the electromagnetic weave absorption and mechanical properties of the materials. It also pointed out some shortcomings to be improved, hoping to offer certain reference to the structural design of such composite materials.
