Abstract: The article elaborates on the advancement of rotor-spinning technology and related product development, the latest development of air-jet vortex spinning technology and the expansion of application fields of relevant products and developing new ring-spun yarns with innovative technologies. Specifically,it mainly discusses double combing roller technology for rotor spinning and related applications; extending the use of rotor spinning technology to producing high-count yarn; developing color-spun yarn and fancy yarn with rotor spinning technology; the advancement of local rotor spinning technology; development of air-jet vortex spinning technology; the optimization of air-jet vortex spinning process; varieties and product development of air-jet vortex-spun yarns.
