Abstract: Based on the properties of thermal-bonded nonwovens and superfine fiber, an advanced composite nonwoven material was developed by combining the thermal-bonded nonwovens with superfine fiber nonwovens through ultrasonic bonding process. The structure and properties were tested and analysed. In addition, the effects of superfine fiber nonwovens and their composite structures on the performance of the composite material were investigated. The article provided a reference for the research and development of composite thermal insulation materials.
