Abstract: High-count & high-density fabrics belong to the category of high-grade textile fabrics. In this paper, their definitions were made clear, and the varieties, characteristics and applications of some typical high-count & high-density fabrics including bedding fabrics, high-grade yarn-dyed shirting and chemical filament down-proof fabrics were analyzed, and based on which, related technologies and key measures for producing these three kinds of fabrics were discussed, offering reference to textile enterprises on developing various high-count & high density fabrics.
